Carol’s approach to Occupational Therapy integrates the breadth of her more than 30 years of professional training and career experience in the performing arts and body mind sciences. Throughout her lifelong passion as a New York City based movement educator, she has had the privilege of working with populations from birth to 90 years of age, in venues in the United States and Europe. These venues include, universities; schools; hospitals; fitness facilities; homes; corporations; out reach programs; performing arts schools and theatres.
Using principles of Occupational Therapy, Laban Movement Analysis; Sports Rehab; Dance; Music; Yoga and Drama Therapy, Carol designs individualized treatment programs that meet children at their own level and inspire them to learn. She provides a playful, disciplined and nurturing environment for children to feel safe and empowered to explore their learning potential. It is her goal for children to obtain the skills and confidence they need to succeed and express themselves authentically in their homes, schools and social communities.
